I prefer to enjoy this cornbread fresh from the oven but you can store this cornbread in an air tight container for 2-3 days.

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
½ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup Just Iowa honey
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup yellow cornmeal, ½ cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3 teaspoons baking powder.
Add 1 egg, 1 cup milk, ? cup vegetable oil, and ¼ cup honey to the bowl.
Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are fully combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown.
Allow the cornbread to cool slightly, then cut and serve with butter. Enjoy!
