Whipped Cottage Cheese and Honey (Dip or Spread)

Note: Anderson Erickson Dairy in Des Moines produces a whipped cottage cheese product. Look for it in your local grocery stores! If you buy the already whipped product, then you don't need to clean your blender!

Ingredients

1 cup cottage cheese
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 lemon juiced about 1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon for garnish

Preparation

To a food processor (or a blender) add the cottage cheese and honey.
Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and cinnamon.
Secure the lid, and process the cottage cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
Transfer the cottage cheese to a dish and drizzle extra cinnamon and honey if desired.
